Ruby Rose’s Last Days in March 2007

— Transcript of Sandra Aguinaldo’s Report
15 June 2009

This is QTV’s News on Q report by Sandra Aguinaldo

on the last days of Ruby Rose Barrameda. The persons appearing in the report are Robert Barrameda, Ruby Rose’s father, Rochelle Barrameda, Ruby Rose’s sister,  Superintendent Leo Francisco, police investigator handling the case and somebody identified as “Annie,” godmother of Ruby Rose’s younger child.

TRANSCRIPT

Ivan Mayrina: Even with the discovery of Ruby Rose Barrameda’s body two days ago, where and how she disappeared on March 14, 2007 remain unanswered.  Investigators are now looking for clues on the last days that she was seen alive.

Sandra Aguinaldo retraces Ruby Rose’s last steps.
Sandra:  On March 14, 2007, Ruby Rose left her parents’ house in Moonwalk, Paranaque’s saying she would just go to the bank before visiting her two kids living with her estranged husband and in-laws in Executive Village in Las Piñas. It was the last time Ruby Rose was seen alive.

Sandra:  Ruby Rose’s sister Rochelle, believes her disappearance has something to do with the dismissal of the temporary protection order she filed against her ex-husband.

Rochelle:  Dinismis yon. yung kanyang temporary protection order.

Sandra:  Police investigators are still trying to find out where exactly Ruby Rose was taken.

Sandra:  Manuel Jimenez III, Ruby Rose’s ex-husband, told GMA News that Ruby Rose did not visit his house in Las Pinas that day.  He also belied accusations that Ruby Rose was restricted from visiting their children adding that she was able to visit them two days before she disappeared.  Ruby Rose used to frequent this gym in Alabang two months before her death. Some of her gym buddies as well as her youngest child’s godmother, who asked that her identity be withheld for her protection, still recall how depressed Ruby was when she was separated from her children.

Sandra:  Sandra Aguinaldo reporting on Q.

This would give you guides on how to control your emotions towards your better-half, friends, officemates and all the people around you, especially your “boss”. The rules of practicing “ugaling langit, ugaling kaaya-aya” :
#2 Walang taong nag-aaway mag-isa.

If someone is angry, wala raw pinakikinggan, so, don’t try to explain and fight back.

Ayon sa pastor, Biblical daw ito because the Lord said when He was crucified, “Father, patawarin mo sila dahil hindi nila alam ang kanilang ginagawa.” Modern term for these kinds of people are abnoys, so you better not get angry para huwag kang matawag na abnoy.

You should also know and realize that the persons who make your day bad are jewels, because you need them for you to mature. Hangga’t andyan daw sila at kinaiinisan mo, ibig sabihin, immature ka pa. God will not take away those people; it’s for you to take away your bad feelings towards them. You’ll know na mature ka na pag dumating ‘yung time na hindi ka na naiinis sa mga taong ito because you have learned to accept them and to have patience with them.

#5 Finally, the best part of this is to tell yourself na, because of this

person, “I will grow mature,” and that DAHIL SA CONTRIBUTION NIYA SA

Ewan ko kung only in the Philippines to.

Siguro ganyan talaga. We have to accept that fact. Next time mga babae namana ang hahanapan ko ng butas just to be fair to us guys. Wahahahahah!!!!

On the right corner, we have Haiku, an ancient Japanese form of poetry and currently the most bastardized icon of culture by the Western World.
On the left corner, we have Hayden Kho’s videos, which isn’t really art, but is just as famous at the moment.

That said, let’s get it on!

Haiku - Lines vary in length, but generally short and straight to the point
Hay-Kho - Videos vary in length, but generally short and pointless

Haiku - Very easy to make, anybody with a pulse and a writing hand can make them
Hay-Kho - Slightly harder to make, specially if you have to hide the camera - needs more than just a hand to make, you also need a partner (preferrably decent looking)

Haiku - Usually used to depict nature such as the moon and the stars
Hay-Kho - often found with Hayden mooning random celebrity stars

Haiku - Japanese in origin, but later associated with lazy western poets
Hay-Kho - Korean in origin, but later associated with lots of puwet from all over the world.

Haiku - usually badly written, but people claim to find profoundness in it anyway
Hay-Kho - badly shot, poorly lit, but people can’t seem to get enough of them

Haiku - thousands of them are being churned out from the keyboards of misdirected teenagers on a daily basis
Hay-Kho - it’s said only 40 of them have ever been made (so far)

Haiku - Reading them makes you feel good, as in “I feel good because I know I can do better than this 17-syllable piece of dogturd”
Hay-Kho - Makes you feel good in more ways than one, for reasons I won’t go into details here.

Haiku - Make one now and you’d probably be ashamed to show them to your children one day
Hay-Kho - They’re like heirloom, man, in the same way we all inherited vintage porn from our ancestors.

The Purpose Driven Life Day 7: The Reason for Everything

“Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory.” Romans 11:36 (LB)

“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.” - John Piper

Am I most satisfied with God? Or am I still looking for satisfaction elsewhere? I remember something St. Augustine said,

“Our hearts are restless until it rests in you.”

St. Augustine said that we would continue to be restless and discontented until our hearts find rest and satisfaction in God alone. It is only when we are most satisfied with God, that we glorify Him.

Rick Warren in this chapter goes on to give five principles on how we can bring glory to God. He says,

  • We bring God glory by worshiping him;
  • We bring God glory by loving other believers;
  • We bring God glory by becoming like Christ;
  • We bring God glory by serving others with our gifts; and
  • We bring God glory by telling others about him.

These are what he calls the five purposes of a purpose driven life. Though I still think that life is messy, these does provide a useful grid to frame the activities of our lives. It’ll help me to re-think what I’m doing and whether it brings glory to the Father. The principles are concise and simple; but the proof of the life is in the living. I pray for grace to live it.

The Purpose Driven Life: Day 6 — Life Is A Temporary Assignment

Life on earth is a temporary assignment.

Earth is only a “temporary residence” for us. We belong to God — so our home is with God. Our home is in heaven. The things of the earth will pass away — heaven will last forever.

Here is a way Warren explains his point that we will never find happiness unless we have our perspective on things of heaven instead of the world:

A fish would never be happy living on land, because it was made for water. An eagle could never be satisfied if it wasn’t allowed to fly. You will never be satisfied on earth, because you were made for more.

I like the illustration Warren gives that we are ambassadors for God. If we were ambassadors for our country to another country, we would do all we could to represent our country in the best way we could. We are ambassadors for God here on earth, and need to represent Him in the best way we can.

Our perspective on life determines what we do with our life — what we do with your time, our talents, our money, everything we have. Warren gives us 3 perspectives for a purpose driven life:

1. Life is a test.
2. Life is a trust.
3. Life is a temporary assignment.

Purpose Driven Life - Day 5:Seeing Life from God’s View
Notes:

* How do you define life? How do you see your life? What is your life metaphor?
* Life is a test.
* Life is a Trust
* Life is a temporary assignment. (next day)
* Money is both a test and a trust in our life.
* Life is both a test and a trust, the more gives you, the more responsible he expects you to be.

Key Bible verses:

* The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest in great ones. [Luke 16:10]
* Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect. [Roman 12:2]
* God forsook him to test him, that he might know all that was in his heart.[2 Chronicles 32:31b)
* God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it. [1 Corinthian 10:13b]
* Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proved he will receive the crown of life that he promised to those who love him. [James 1:12]

Purpose Driven Life, Day 4, Made to Last Forever

In the Purpose Driven Life”  by Rick Warren he uses I John 2:17 as the scripture to ponder. (KJV) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

Because the individual who does the will of God abides forever it is important to me that I know God’s purpose for my life.  Will our purposes change as we grow in faith - I believe so.   As we grow in faith our perception of situations will be seen more clearly “in the light of His Word.”

I think of Titus 1:2, “In hope of eternal life, in which God cannot lie, promised before the world began.”
“When we live in light of eternity, your values change.”  (Rick Warren)

It is true for my life, when I stop and ask myself am I sending up to heaven wood, hay or stubble or am I sending up precious jewels.  What we do for Christ lasts.

I am beginning to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior knowing that my life continues from this world into the next.  Each of us, as believers, need to live our lives to the fullest, for His glory and by His grace.
